Insurance policies are divided into six specific parts. These are Declarations, Insuring Agreement, Exclusions, Conditions, Definitions, and Endorsements. The Homeowners policy will be studied by examining five of these six policy parts. The declarations will not be reviewed since they are specific to each particular insured and risk and should be self-explanatory.
